The new version of the OSAM System is coming very soon! Thanks for all the feedback you sent us since 2013. The Communication and Information Technology (COMMIT) is still working on the new system but here's what to expect:
  1. OrgsUP features inside the OSAM System.
This includes the simplified recognition process, generation of activity permits, org activity pages, and SOAD SHARES.
  2. Centralized event calendar for all activities.
The calendar can be synchronized with smart phones and tablets so students will have access to university events at their fingertips.
  3. Text to login.
When on a shared computer, users increase the risk of having their passwords logged by a malicious program. With OSAM's SMS authentication, this won't be a problem.
  4. Organized menus and pages to help users find what they need more easily.
The menu items were grouped in such a way that students will find it easy to access OSA services.
  5. Centralized helpdesk.
OrgsUP's Magtanong has been merged with OSAM's centralized helpdesk. Students can inquire about any OSA service through the helpdesk and expect for a reply within 24 hours.
  6. Content-rich website with plenty of FAQs.
OSA has been spending the past couple of months documenting its services. These information will be available in the new system.
  7. Online bulletin board.
To further enhance OSA's information dissemination initiatives, OSA will also upload documents posted in the OSA bulletin boards.
  8. Faster document generation.
No need to wait for several minutes for the generation of OSA forms. They are now generated on-the-fly!
  9. Compatibility with the future.
Hundreds of OSAM components were rewritten to match industry standards. This means OSA is opening its doors to development of more applications in the future such as a Facebook or Android applications.
  10. Fancy alert boxes and a fancy homepage with a sleek image slider.
This is not a life-changing update but it makes OSA look cool and professional!

And here's a sneak peek of the new OSAM System!
